Isaiah 6

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

-- Isaiah 6:8

God gives us many opportunities to serve him. But we give ourselves all kinds of excuses, I am busy, I have something else to do, may be I will do it later, can you ask somebody else to do it for you Lord?
Here is Isaiah's response: Here am I! Send me! Without knowing what he will need to do, how hard or dangerous the task will be, whether he wants to do it or not, without thinking at all, he replies immediately: send me!
We should learn his attitude when serving the Lord.

Something I dont understand in Isaiah 6...

v9 - 10. I dont get it ... Does God not want to save those people? Why God does not want them to see, listen and understand?
