- God closes Jerusalem's eyes (v9-10)
- Appears that even when Isaiah prophesies, no one will understand (v11-12) [certainly what I am thinking right now! :P]

-- Isaiah 29:13-14
"You turn things upside down!
Shall the potter be regarded as the clay,
that the thing made should say of its maker,
He did not make me;
or the thing formed say of him who formed it,
He has no understanding?
-- Isaiah 29:16
- God speaks to those who do not follow God's plan (30:1), and those who do not consult him for directions (v2), and warns them of the consequences of going down the wrong path (v3-7)
Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
-- Isaiah 30:18
- Consequences of those who do not rely on God but go for Egypt (Chapter 31)
